  • Q. What if I want something made that you have not mentioned?
    A. Please tell me your idea and I will let you know if it is possible to make it, for a price you agree on.

  • Q. Do you cater for gay and lesbian marriages?
    A
. Definitely, and don't forget anniversaries, and Valentine's Day too!

  • Q.  Do you make cars or other vehicles?
    A
. They are not my favourite subject, I prefer people, but feel free to ask, and I can make one if there is plenty of notice.

  • Q. Can you make my favourite celebrity?
    A. Yes, and why not have one of you both together for a laugh?

  • Q. Can you make the figures any size?
    A. To attempt a facial resemblance, the figure can be no smaller than 2 inches tall. The largest I have made is 8 inches tall, but you can have larger.  A very big sculpture would use much more material, so would cost more, but I would tell you how much in advance.

  • Q. Are the bigger sculptures very heavy?
    A
. No, because I use a foil and wire core which weighs less than the clay, and gives strength and stability.

  • Q. Can you make any animal?
    A. Yes, provided I have good photos to work from.

  • Q. How much is postage and packaging?
    A. It costs from £3 recorded delivery, for a single figure, and  £4.00 for a wedding couple. For larger orders ask for a quote, but I only charge the amount as asked for by the post office, plus the cost of a gift box if it comes in one, which cost from 55p to £1 each. I do not make a profit on those either.

  • Q. What if they are damaged in transit?
    A. They are very well packed in a box within a box, padded out with all kinds of bubble wrap etc. However if anything breaks, just send it back for either a replacement or a repair. The material is very durable, and has not broken in the post yet. The delicate parts which may chip if knocked or dropped, are the extremities such as hands, hair strands, flower petals. If you have an accident at any time, even in years to come, please send it back for a free repair. My customers and their models are very important to me.

  • Q. What if I haven't got a digital camera and only have prints and I don't always have access to a computer?
    A. I have to print off the photos people send me anyway, so that is fine. I will give you my address so you can post your photos. I will return the photos back with the finished model. I will also give my phone number to those who prefer not to use email. I can send a photo of the finished model in the post rather than email, for you to approve, or ask for alterations.

  • Q. You say you draw portraits too, how much do they cost and have you got any examples of your work?
    A. I only do a small number due to the amount of time they take. Prices start from £60 for a single portrait. This would be unframed but I can get them professionally framed for you, but postage would be expensive and risky. I can show you a photo of one wedding couple I did, but the others were all sold or given away without having been photographed first. I would only accept money for a portrait you were happy with, so the risk lies with me not the customer. I use various lead pencils, or charcoal, but the lead pencil drawings are the more precise of the two. Feel free to ask me anything about this service.
