Welcome to the new look Weston Super-Models. I specialise in making highly personalised Wedding and Birthday cake toppers. I also make commissioned sculptures and was recently commissioned to make Bobby Davro`s 50th Birthday topper.
I have over twenty years experience, and am a graduate in art, design and sculpture. Portrait drawing was my passion, until I discovered that creating faces in 3D was even more exciting and challenging. My aim is to capture as great a resemblance as possible, no matter how small the scale. The nature of the material, and the small scale means that an exact likeness cannot be promised, but this does not stop me trying! The better the photos, the more likely a good resemblance will be achieved.
Many hours are spent making each figure, using professional sculpting techniques. My facial detail is what sets me apart from others, so when I say 'personalised', that is precisely what you get.
Good communication is essential, in order for me to achieve the model you wish for. I will make regular contact with customers, to ask for their opinion and ideas, and to let them know how the model is progressing, sending photos if requested. I will email you a photo of the finished piece for your approval. The models by this point are already fired, but certain small alterations are sometimes possible, for example if the hair shade was too dark, or you change your mind about the type of flowers.
I require at least three weeks notice to make these models, preferably longer, but feel free to ask if you do have a last-minute request.
I was recently very pleased to be chosen to make Bobby Davro`s 50th Birthday Cake Topper....please invite me next year Bobby, I will behave! Bobby has been appearing in EastEnders for some time now, but I believe this model represents his time appearing on stage as part of a "rat pack" tribute-style show.
